As with most argos store items you want never in stock
What can I say it's Argos. They are quite organised when it comes to taking payments and the retrieval of the goods you buy. They will try there best to help you with any questions you have and even have items transferred from another store if not in stock. Only thing I find is that there catalogue isn't as extensive as it is if you buy online but they have the essentials plus some. Taken a star away for the new layout, its to open and there is no goods on display.
Poor customer service. I bought a phillips toothbrush (the 50 sonicare) in 2017 and it broke after a year and a half and I hadn't used it for 6 months due to being out of the country. It had a 2 year guarantee so figured it would be a simple return as I had the receipt and the parts.I was told at their customer service desk that argos does not deal with returns after one year and that I would need to contact the manufacturer. I know for a fact after wokring in retail for 5 years whilst studying that electronic repairs under guarantee are handled by the store. I rang Phillips who thankfully replaced it with no issue, they also told me that yes, Argos should have dealt with it themselves as that is where I bought it from. Be wary buying anything here, a guarantee is clearly not a guarantee. I will certainly not be purchasing anything expensive here again and feel like it is a shady business practice. Thankfully with Amazon and other big online vendors I'm not forced to deal with Argos anymore.
Terrible service, I bought an iPhone X and Ive kept the receipt of purchase which I bought on the 8th and I took it back on the 9th to be told they wont give me a refund for the faulty phone I purchased from them because I cant not see a fault and its a lot of money says the store manager. They look at you like youre an idiot and just seem to want you out of the store. Thats funny considering its my money not theirs.Im never using Argos again for anything. The refund was not given despite the fact the box is intact, not a mark on the phone and nothing missing out of the box, I took in the condition it was received in. They gave petty excuses like it has fingerprints on it I gave it to them spotless, those fingerprints were their own from when they inspected it. They also tried to find other excuses with the packaging and failed any but still refused to refund me my 999Do not use Argos if you value your time and money.
Ordered a watch through click and collect. Service was quick and generally good however the item had been previously opened and looked to be ex-display so i had to request a different one that had not been previously opened.
