We stopped here on the way back from North Norfolk. There is a coffee shop that opens on Sundays, but as it was midweek we couldn't sample it's delight. County School is part of the Mid Norfolk Railway, and it is in the process of reinstating the line from here to Dereham. A must for all Railway enthusiasts, and please if you can contribute to the work the MNR Heritage line are doing.
Lovely old railway station of County School, Built in 1882. How a lot of country stations used to look like.
Interesting and lovely picnic area but not much else. Think it is a half finished project.
I just love this place. I just want the trains to run to this station.
It is really a place for real enthusiasts but is a good place to start a walk. It's not connected to any railway so there isn't any actual locos to see
