Fantastic place to camp. With lovely countryside walks and water and electricity to each pitch!
We stayed here for a week during August 2018. With two 14 year old girls it was the perfect site. Plenty of room, spotless facilities and owners who go above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best. It was lovely being away from the sound of traffic and yet not far away plenty to see and do. All I can say is it was a really lovely campsite which we'd highly recommend in a beautiful part of the country
Always nervous when booking a new site...Wow! What a fantastic choice, simple, very friendly and extremely clean facilities. The surrounding landscape is brilliant for a nice woodland stroll. Beautiful setting for a campsite that is kept immaculately clean and very well presented. The owners couldn't be more helpful and obliging. Shower and toilet facilities were the best we've ever seen! If you want a quiet break this is an ideal campsite. Very family friendly and lots of space per pitch so even when it's busy you don't feel as though you are on top of one another. The site even had WiFi although we didn't tell the kids!
Great site. Level pitches, some serviced; excellent clean toilet blocks; children's play area and small shop in reception. Very friendly and helpful owners. Owners also ensure it's quiet at night and cars keep to 5mph speed limit. This is how a site should be run! Selection of decent pubs in cycling distance and great butchers and well stocked shop in Swanton Morley. Great site for families and we'll definitely be back!
