What a lovely little site...we had a warm welcome and an even warmer yurt...cosy and well equipped. The site was really lovely and there was a cafe a couple of mins walk away if you fancied a lazy breakfast. It was really peaceful but there was only us and another couple there. Would probably have a different feel when fully booked. Shaun was really helpful and has done a great job with this site. Would visit again without hesitation....even in the rain !

Excellent site... yurts very homely and excellently furnished . Shane the owner very welcoming and extremely helpful. Will certainly return.

Monday to Friday February half term with my bestie and our kids we had a blast yes it gets cold at night but we had the woodburner on and when it went out the provided oil burner we had sleeping bags duvets and blankets snug as bugsWe cooked pizza in the pizza oven and smores on the camp fire the kids ran wild Yurts pretty, well equipped, shower block short walk cold inside but water pipingCafe/Bistro good food at a good priceLittle shop very friendly staffWe survived Storm Doris - owner very friendly and helpfulIf you want luxury 5* (with price to suit) not for you but if you appreciate the "amping" in Glamping then go for it

Stayed in the Moonbeam Yurt. Really good on site facilities including farm shop and bistro cafe. Yurt was clean, well equipped and super cosy once the log burner was lit.

I booked this as a surprise for my Fiancee after he returned from 3months in Canada. We were told that there were no yurts available and that the railway carriage would be. Although a yurt was empty the whole duration Monday-Fri. The beautiful railway carriage was indeed available but it was very cold once the warmth of the wood burner finished heating the carriage, which it did heat very well for the time it was on. I did take a lot of bedding but it was very cold at night. There are areas that are not sealed around the door and that made it incredibly difficult to keep it warm at this time of year. The hammocks the garden furniture, fire pits , garden lights , comfy bed and clean facilities were great. The views are perfect for a sunset hammock rest and glass of your favourite drink. Its perfect for the sunset and we were so lucky to see the stars each night too. I would not book the carriage at this time of year again. But found the site somewhere I would most definately book again.
