It's an absolutely stunning place. We we have one dog and everywhere is dog friendly and there is plenty of beautiful places to walk. It's very much in the country and the experience feels far from anywhere. If you need something Dereham isn't far. There's two pubs (angel and the Darby) which are both very good for food and drink and very friendly as well as dog friendly. There's a local shop and a very nice butcher's / delicatessen. Entertainment comes in the form of a private pool, hot tub, badminton court and inside there's a TV with a dvd player, books, films and boardgames (for those rainy days). If the sun is shining, there's no better place to be.The barn is upside down (beds downstairs) and sleeps 6, with one en suite and a separate bathroom. 3 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 1 twin bedroom. The upstairs is a huge open plan barn with a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts are on site and very helpful. In short if you're looking for a cottage get away and you have kids and a dog you will feel very welcome and happy. Or if you are small group of 6, again it's ideal. We will book again.

Five adults enjoyed a lovely relaxing Easter week here (March 2016)The property has been created from an original farm building to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped, the availability of games and books excellent. It was also lovely to arrive to a preset table and a pile of recent glossy magazines a really nice touch which we all commented on. There was some basic kitchen cupboard items such as salt, pepper, foil, cling film, dishwasher tabs, tea towels etc which was great although we did replenish most of what we used. The selection of tourist information is excellent and a refreshing change to find it so well organised rather than a grubby pile of leaflets shoved in a drawer. The property was lovely and clean and welcoming when we arrived, and it was well heated all week -we were never cold. The hot tub and pool facility was enjoyable, although being unheated the pool was not exactly welcoming at this time of year although two of our party did brave it on three occasions. We used the hot tub a number of times. The DVDs selection was great, but bring your own CDs (player on site) or Ipod and dock for music. Some lovely walks and lots of wildlife to observe. Nice market towns from about 20 mins drive and pub with great selection of ales and food within a 10 minute drive.Owners very helpful and pleasant live on site so generally available to assist with queries etc.
